I have been fortunate to have worked in the classroom as a teaching assistant, teacher and leader. This experience combined with my qualifications in teaching, assessment, systems thinking and coaching resulted in my career moving away from working in schools to working with them on change management and continual professional development programmes, one of which has been adopted by Kingston University and is part of their Initial Teacher Training programme.
I currently lead a team of specialist assessors delivering diagnostic assessments online and continue to work with schools through the CReSTeD charity which supports schools in meeting the needs of children with specific learning difficulties through an accreditation programme.
In the role of advisor, I hope to bring a commitment to inclusivity and understanding of neurodivergence to support the Bristol Tutorial College and its students.
